UPDATE, 10:57 a.m.: York Regional Police said two adults were located with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. Police are treating the shooting as an isolated incident.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or lives in the neighbourhood, to check their security cameras and dashcam footage.

Some schools in Georgina have been placed in a hold and secure after gunshots were fired in a nearby park this morning.
There is a heavy police presence in the area of Bayview Park, at 106 Bayview Ave., in Keswick after shots were heard at about 7:28 a.m., York Regional Police Const. Kevin Nebrija said.
Police have set up a perimeter at Dovedale Drive to the south, Bayview Avenue and the Queensway to the northwest and Fairwood Drive to the east.
During a hold and secure at a school, all exterior doors are locked and access and exit from the school are controlled. Regular activities in the school continue.
