Health Canada warns multiple unauthorized health products promoted for sexual enhancement can pose serious health risks.

The public health agency states that products being sold in York Region contain unauthorized drugs, including tadalafil and sildenafil, or have been tested and found to contain dangerous ingredients. According to a news release, over 156 products were seized.

Products labeled as premium “pro power 350”, “rhino 7 platinum 5000”, “stiff rock,” and “etumax royal honey” were seized. You can view the complete list here.

In Canada, sexual enhancement products authorized for sale must have one of three identifiers: An eight-digit Drug Identification Number (DIN), Natural Product Number (NPN), or Homeopathic Drug Number (DIN-HM).

Additionally, the product must include specific information on the label, including a list of all medicinal ingredients and their amounts, recommended use and dose, and appropriate health warnings.

Health Canada recommends you stop using these products and consult your healthcare professional if you have health concerns. You can report these or any unauthorized health products to Health Canada online. Selling unauthorized health products in Canada is illegal.
