Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking four suspects following a commercial robbery in the City of Markham.
On Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at 3 p.m., police responded to reports of a retail commercial robbery in the area of 14th Avenue and Woodbine Avenue. Three suspects entered the store and made their way to storage room which contained cell phones.
An employee was assaulted and suffered minor injuries after attempting to intervene in the robbery.
The suspects stole a quantity of phones and fled in a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle being driven by a fourth suspect. The vehicle was last seen heading northbound on Woodbine Avenue.
Suspect No. 1: Male, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants, black shoes, black mask and blue surgical gloves.
Suspect No. 2: Male, wearing a black hooded sweater, black balaclava, Jordan 1 Nike sneakers and black gloves.
Suspect No. 3: Male, wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants, black shoes, a black glove on the right hand and carrying a black backpack.
