Police are investigating a carjacking that happened following a staged collision Sunday in Markham.
At about 10:20 p.m., police responded to the area of Major Mackenzie Drive and Reesor Road, where the victim’s Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon was rear-ended by a dark-coloured sedan. Two suspects then forced the victim out of the vehicle and fled in it while another drove off in the suspect vehicle.
At least three suspects were involved. Two are described as males with skinny builds, wearing all dark clothing and balaclavas. The other one was the driver of the suspect vehicle, and no description is available.
