Police search for 3 suspects after employees tied up during armed robbery

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking three suspects following a commercial robbery in the City of Vaughan.

On Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024 at approximately 9:25 p.m., police responded to a commercial robbery in the area of Fishermens Way and Bass Pro Mills Drive. Two suspects entered the store and declared that the situation was an armed robbery before forcing employees to open a safe. The suspects then tied up employees before fleeing the store with a quantity of cell phones.

While one suspect indicated that he was armed, no weapon was seen. The suspects fled in a white sedan, being driven by a third suspect.

Suspect #1: Male, White, 5’10”, believed to be between 20-30 years of age, wearing a grey track suit, black shoes and a black balaclava.

Suspect #2: Male, Black, 6’, believed to be between 20-30 years of age, wearing a beige hooded sweater, black pants, grey shoes and a black mask.

Suspect #3: No description is available.

The investigation is ongoing.
