A man has been charged after allegedly touching a woman in a sexual manner on a park bench in Vaughan in October.
On Oct. 12 at about 1 p.m., a woman was sitting on a bench in the area of Via Romano Boulevard and Strong Avenue when a man sat next to her and touched her “for a sexual purpose,” York Regional Police said in a news release.
Asghar Akbari, 74, of Vaughan, has been charged with sexual assault.
Police believe there could be more victims.
