Provincial police say Highway 400's northbound lanes have reopened at Highway 89, south of Barrie, with the southbound lanes set to follow.
Around 7 p.m., Friday, the OPP said plows were making their way north to reopen the southbound lanes at Mapleview Drive in Barrie.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said driving conditions were beginning to improve around 6 p.m.
