An 87-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision Sunday in Vaughan, while her 90-year-old passenger received life-threatening injuries.
Emergency crews responded at about 5:15 p.m. to a collision between a black SUV and a white pickup truck in the area of Jane Street and Auto Vaughan Drive, York Regional Police said in a news release.
The three occupants of the SUV were taken to hospital. The 87-year-old driver died and a 90-year-old man remains in life-threatening condition, police said.
All five occupants of the pickup suffered minor injuries.
