A 13-year-old boy has been charged and police are looking for three other suspects following break-and-enters and thefts in Markham earlier this month.

On March 9, police responded to a report of two people breaking into homes in the area of Denison Street and Middlefield Road. The suspects had tried to enter at least two houses before breaking into a home, taking the keys to two vehicles and stealing them from the driveway.

On March 11, police were called to a home in the area of Fonda Road and Golden Avenue for reports of a stolen vehicle. Four suspects had attempted to enter at least one other house before breaking into a home and stealing the keys to the victim’s vehicles. The vehicles were then stolen from the driveway.

All four stolen vehicles were recovered in Toronto. One suspect was seen returning to one of the vehicles and was quickly arrested.

All of the suspects were wearing masks, hooded sweaters and track pants.

A 13-year-old Toronto boy was charged with break and enter (two counts), theft of a motor vehicle (four counts), possession of property obtained by crime (two counts) and attempting to commit break and enter (three counts).
