Police have teamed up with the Bolo (Be on the lookout) Program to help find a woman wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after a 16-year-old Montreal boy was killed in York Region in August.
On Aug. 8 at about 6 a.m., police were called to a hospital after a victim arrived with a stab wound. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Katherine Bergeron-Pinzarrone, 27, of Mississauga, is wanted for second-degree murder. She is described as white, standing five-foot-one, weighing 122 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is known to reside in Mississauga and Quebec.
“We are hopeful that this partnership with the Bolo Program will increase our chances of locating this violent offender,” York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween said in a news release.
