A northern Ontario town is under a drinking water advisory.
Public Health Sudbury & Districts issued the advisory for Gogama, Ont., on Monday.
The issue follows an interruption to the town's water supply due to mechanical issues.
The health unit says the safety of the drinking water may have been compromised during the loss of water pressure.
It says the advisory will be in effect until bacteriological testing indicates it is safe.
The advisory means water from municipal systems shouldn't be used for consumption including drinking, cooking and brushing teeth, and boiling it may not make it safe.
