TORONTO — Police in Toronto say a man has turned himself in for what they say was a deliberate hit-and-run that killed a 25-year-old pedestrian.
They allege that during an argument Monday night, a man got into a pickup truck and ran over the pedestrian before leaving the area.
Investigators say the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
They've identified the pedestrian as Jamil Nazarali of Uxbridge, Ont.
Police had issued an arrest warrant for the 32-year-old driver.
The force says the Toronto man surrendered to police on Wednesday and has been charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder.
