It is with heavy and sorrowful hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Marino Vigliotta at Southlake Regional Health Centre on February 10, 2024, at the age of 92.
Dedicated husband to Ermelinda Vigliotta (predeceased), cherished wife of 67 years. Life mentor of Joe (Tilly), John (Trish) and Maryann (Doug). As a doting Nonno, he shared many special moments with Jennifer and Martina; as Bisnonno he treasured his time with Christopher and Damian. Loyal son of the late Giuseppe and Carminella; brother to Antonietta, Sandra and the late Rocco, Maria, Congetta, and Antonio.
Marino, along with his brothers and partners, Rocco and Antonio, owned Rocco’s Barber Shop, Vigliotta Bros. Rentals, and Newmarket Car Wash. The many friendships he developed with customers over the years extended beyond the barbershop chair.
The family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate healthcare professionals at Southlake Regional Health Centre, including paramedics, emergency personnel, nurses, doctors, specialists and ICU staff.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Church on Thursday February 15, 2024 at 11 a.m.
