With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Thomson on Monday, January 15th, 2024, at the age of 96, surrounded by his loving family at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Beatrice Thomson (2017), in a place of everlasting peace.

Robert's legacy continues through his devoted children, Karen Holloway nee Thomson and Bobby Thomson. He leaves behind a cherished imprint on the lives of his grandchildren: Kevin Holloway (Kelsey), Kristen McLean nee Holloway (Aaron), and Lindsay Holloway. His great-granddaughter, Taylor McLean, stands as a testament to the enduring love that resonates through the generations. Robert also held a special place in the heart of his niece, Jackie Reid, and her husband Chris. Robert was predeceased by his mother Lily Thomson, brother Jimmy Jarrad, sister Gerry Thomson, and sister Nora Russell.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27th, from 11 AM to 12 PM. A memorial service, honoring Robert's remarkable life, will take place in the chapel at 12 PM, followed by a reception—a time for sharing memories, stories, and finding solace in the company of loved ones.
