It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Catherine Sullivan of Newmarket Ontario. She passed away on January 22 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Beloved wife of Jeremiah Sullivan for 69 years. Dear mother to John (Maria), Kevin (Tracy), Eugene, Rory (Greg), Bob (Larissa), D’Arcy (Julie) and Kelly (Steve). Adored grandma to Meaghan (Jenny), Molly (Chris), Kaity, Matthew, Ellie, Tristan, Bryson, Lauren (Jason), Robert, Kieran, Riley and Jack. Beloved great-grandma to Harlow, Hayes and Mia. Beloved sister to Bill (Maureen), and Pat (Irene), aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was born, raised and wed in Montreal, a place that held a special spot in her heart for a lifetime. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family above all else. Her love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren held no bounds. She taught us unconditional love, patience and the true meaning of family.
She spent her life raising her children and laterally attended classes at Concordia University where she studied creative writing, took pottery classes, was an avid reader and an excellent cook. Her love of cooking spilled over to her children, and was the greatest teacher we could ever ask for. She had an incredible sense of humor and an infectious laugh.
She will be greatly missed and forever loved. Her legacy will live on forever with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being our mom.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 1st at 11:00 am St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 17955 Leslie St. Newmarket Ontario L3Y 9A4. Snacks and coffee to follow in the Church Hall.
