Spencer, William Stevenson aka "SPINNER"

"You will forget what people said or did, but you will never forget how they made you feel"

Our beloved Spinner passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2024 with his family by his side, he was 66.

Survived by his loving wife and soul mate Nance, his dear sister Donna, and his long-time dear friend Laura.

Born and raised in Scarborough, Bill's road in life led him to a career with FedEx for 31 years where he wore many hats including 15 years as a manager. He cherished the relationships he had with his co-workers and friends and brought a comforting air of wisdom, calm and humour to any situation. Bill was an avid sports fan, he loved playing golf and going on the annual 'Rites of Spring' adventures with long-time friends. Upon his retirement 7 years ago, Spinner carried on with his other passion in life, his garden. Anyone who knew him, loved him, even grew to appreciate the jazz music he was always listening to. A celebration of his life will take place on Sunday November 3rd, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Peaceful Transition – Unit 2 - 15236 Yonge Street in Aurora. In lieu of flowers, it was Bill's wishes to show continued support of his favourite charitable music station JazzFM 91.1.
