Died: September 20, 2024, Vaughan, Ontario, Canada.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Andrew Dale Smith announces his passing on September 20, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Andrew is pre-deceased by his parents: Alva and Lurline Smith, also of Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Andrew will be forever and very lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Joan of 54 years and their two devoted children: Scott and his partner, Tanya; Kandis and her partner, Anthony; along with their four extraordinary grandchildren: Taylor, Haylee, Paige, and Aiden. He will also be lovingly remembered by his two younger siblings: Marjorie Smith McNab, Kingston, Jamaica and Patrick Smith, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

He will also be missed by many other family members, friends, and professional colleagues, both near and far.

The family thanks all of the medical and auxiliary support staff at Sherwood Court, in Vaughan, Ontario for the very thoughtful, loving, compassionate, and professional care they have given Andrew since he was admitted in 2014.

A memorial visitation will be held at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive Newmarket on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life Service will take place in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m.
