It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gerard “Gerry” Reynolds on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket.
Wonderful husband of the late Wilma for nearly 60 years (p. 2017) and beloved partner of Robin McComb for 6 years. He will be forever missed by his daughter, Elaine Miller. Gerry's pride and joy were his grandchildren, Anthony, and Alanna. He embraced his role as a grandfather with open arms, always ready with a warm hug, insightful advice and captivating stories.
Brother of Ann-Marie (the late Paul), Joseph (Faith) and Alana (John) he will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family throughout Canada, the US and the UK.
Beyond his family, Gerry had a passion for sports, particularly soccer. His love for the game was infectious, and he could often be found cheering on Scotland, Hibernian FC, Toronto FC, and whoever was playing Rangers.
He was born amongst the green and rolling hills of Scotland, in Glasgow. He carried his homeland's pride and spirit with him throughout his life.
His kindness, love, and devotion to his family will forever be etched in our hearts.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Sunday June 9, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. followed by refreshments. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer
