It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Flor Oducayen on Thursday January 30th, 2025 in Newmarket, Ontario at the age of 62.

Born on December 15th, 1962, in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Flor immigrated to Canada in 1991, seeking new opportunities and to start a new chapter in his life with his wife Leticia.

A true motorcycle enthusiast, Flor found peace in the rumble of an engine beneath him and the open road before him. But his heart wasn’t just in the thrill of the ride; he also found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His garden was a testament to his patience and care, where he grew fruits and vegetables that were as impeccable as the love he poured into everything he did.

Flor was predeceased by his beloved parents, Flor Sr. and Margarita, but he leaves behind a deeply devoted family. He is survived by his loving wife, Leticia; his children Kristine, Christopher, and Kaycee; his cherished granddaughter Amelia; and her eagerly anticipated sibling. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters, Nancy and Luchie, along with numerous family and friends.

Flor’s legacy lives in the love he gave so freely, the laughter that echoed through his life, and the unwavering generosity he shared with anyone lucky enough to know him.  Though his physical presence will be missed beyond measure, his spirit will remain with us, woven into every story, every memory, and every moment of joy he inspired.  Flor may have left us too soon, but he leaves behind a beautiful and lasting imprint, one that will never fade. We will carry his laughter in our hearts forever.
