Patricia Lillie McPhee (nee Devins) Born June 6, 1933, Richmond Hill, Ontario and died in peace January 22, 2025 in her 92nd year. Beloved mother of Bruce (Sheila Lindsay), Sean (deceased), Keira and Danna (Rob Wilson) and grandsons Rob, Mike and Harry. Her loving husband was Robert William McPhee (1930-1980). Sister of Sylvia (Bob Alexander), her late brother Ray (Annis Devins). She was the daughter of the late David and Hazel Devins. She is remembered with warmth and joy by her many nieces and nephews in the Devins and McPhee families.

Her second husband was the late Robin Skuce. She deeply enjoyed building a chalet in the Gatineau, Quebec with Robin and their many travels around the world.

Pat was a passionate child-centred educator for her whole career. She taught at St Andrews Public School in Scarborough, Ontario for 25 years where she made close friends she kept throughout her life.

Pat expressed her sense of purpose in the social justice work and community life at Bloor St. United Church. She travelled with her good friends from Bloor St. United on a witnessing trip to Palestine and Israel, canoeing in Quetico Provincial Park in northwestern Ontario, to Crete and her last big adventure on a cruise to the Arctic.
After she retired she bought a cottage in Haliburton where she loved to gather with friends and family, rest in solitude and swim in the lake she described as “brown velvet water.”

Her children can still hear her joyful voice in the morning “it's GORGEOUS out!!”

Her family deeply thanks Gloria Bautista, Cheddie and Beth Whyne and all the staff who helped us care for her the last 5 years.
