It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adam Jackson. Adam passed away on January 17th, 2025 at the age of 52.
The world has lost a kind and generous soul with Adam’s passing. Adam was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. Adam spent many years of his life dedicated to helping others. He was a Firefighter with the Clarington Fire Department for 8 years. From there he went on to work for the Wheel Trans department at the TTC for 16 years. He spent the last few years as a Manager at Walmart.
Adam was someone that was extremely skilled at building or fixing almost anything. He loved getting his hands dirty gardening, and the outdoors; especially fishing, boating, or enjoying time at a cottage with loved ones. Adam loved animals and if there was a dog around, you would find him cuddling that dog. Adam was also a talented cook and loved to bake Christmas cookies during the holidays. Adam had a passion for the gym and had the strength of Superman.
But what Adam loved more than anything in this world was spending time with his two children; Kaleb and Katie.
As young children, Kaleb and Katie were so blessed to have such a hands-on Dad. From teaching Kaleb at a young age how to build, how to fish and how to fix anything that needs fixing, is helping shape Kaleb to be a strong young man who will now follow in his Father’s footsteps. Adam was a perfect girl dad and had endless tea parties with Katie, not mention providing her the skills to play soccer along with basketball. This has helped Katie find her path in enjoying sports today especially flag football. There were endless days spent at the beach that are now memories that will live forever, tossing the football back and forth and having endless laughs. Adam loved exploring new destinations such as Mexico, Jamaica and Disney World with the kids. During these trips, you would always find Adam catching a sea creature to teach the kids about.
Adam leaves behind many close friends, nephew, his brother Reg Jackson (Wendy Jackson), his ex-wife Krista LeClair and his children, Kaleb and Katie.
A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 2nd at 11am at Taylor Funeral Home 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket 647-362-8705. Friends and family are welcome to join the family and encouraged to share memories and stories.
