Dana Henry Robinson was the cherished youngest of eight children, born in beautiful Kingston, Jamaica, on March 24, 1972. Her life’s journey, which ended on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the age of fifty-two in Newmarket, Ontario, was a testament to love, resilience, and vision. Dana was a devoted Christian, wife and a nurturing mother to five radiant children, each a reflection of her boundless love and unshakable belief in the power of family.

She carried within her an entrepreneurial spirit that could not be contained—a dreamer who saw possibilities where others saw limits.  Dana’s hands told stories of devotion—scribbling away at designs and business plans in her many notebooks. Through her business, Sew Modest Kouture, she stitched more than fabric; she stitched hope, belonging, and pride into the lives of those she touched with her creations.

Her gifts extended beyond her sewing machine. Dana’s sharp mind and unrelenting drive led her into the world of real estate and mortgage brokerage, where she pursued her passion for building legacies, and homes for her family. She was a woman who stayed attuned to the pulse of the times, always finding ways to create meaningful work that connected her to her community. Dana’s life was a tapestry—rich, intricate, and unforgettable. She leaves behind not just memories, but a legacy of love, determination, and the unyielding pursuit of dreams.
