It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Richard Gee, on Sunday July 14th, 2024, Richard passed away at the age of 57 in his home that he shared with his wife Cathy, who will miss him dearly. Beloved son of Brian Gee (predeceased), Lois Gee (predeceased), and Arlene Gee (predeceased), and brother to Bruce & Joanne Gee, Doug (predeceased) & Heather Gee, John & Ruth Doran, Catherine Doran, and Kelly Doran (Arnold). Richard is forever loved and missed by his children, Samantha, Tabitha, & Stephen (predeceased) as well as, his two step children Kandiece (Ryan), and Carl (Sarah). Proud Grandpa to Hailey, Isaac, Caleb, Grace, & Connor.
Richard had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. He will always be remembered for his generous and caring manner, compassion for others, hard-working personality, his amazing sense of humour, and his easy-going manner. Richard will sadly be missed and fondly remembered by all his extended family and friends. As he often said before wishing someone goodnight, “sleep with the angels”.
A service and visitation will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket on Wednesday July 24th from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
