Passed away peacefully at Scarborough Centenary Hospital (Scarborough, Ontario) on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 86 years of age.
Beloved father of Kim Herkner (Dustin) and Glen. Proud grandfather of Samantha Herkner. Survived by brother Fred (Marilyn) and sister Henrietta (John). Predeceased by sisters Grace, Henny and Ricki and brother Bill. Son of the late Antonius and Hendrika Gartsen.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Scarborough Centenary Hospital for making our dad’s last days comfortable.
Interment will take place at Queensville Cemetery (20778 Leslie St, Queensville, ON) on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 12:00 PM.
