Fleming, (Isabelle) Elizabeth Isabella, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 4, 2022 in her 81st year. Isabelle was a lifetime employee of the Royal Bank of Canada, where she met George Fleming. They married in 1964 and had two daughters. George predeceased her by 5 months. Isabelle was a woman of many talents, sewing, ceramics, crafts, knitting, crocheting, and macramé. She played the piano at her home Church growing up and loved to play the organ.

She obtained her private pilot's licence so she could help fly the plane with George on long trips. She enjoyed travelling and gardening. She was an amazing Mother and Grandmother and was looking forward to being a Great Grandmother but just couldn’t hold on that long. Her Rheumatoid arthritis made many things painful and difficult for her and we have no idea how she was able to do half the things she did, she was a remarkably strong woman who did whatever she could to ensure her family’s happiness.

Loving and cherished mother of Diane(Terry) Cole and Cheryl(Peter) Riley and much cherished Grandmother to Lindsey(Michael) Barkley, Holden(Meaghan) Cassidy and Makayla Cole, Hope (Griffin) Stanbury, Calvin(Mariana) Riley and Grace Riley. Dear sister to Rosemary, and loving aunt to David and Lisa (predeceased Dec 2021)

A special thank you to Dr Neville and the staff at Canterbury Gardens Retirement Residence for the amazing care and comfort given to Mom and our family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada.
