Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 at AgeCare Aurora in his 92nd year. He battled with vascular dementia for many years.
He was born, lived, and worked in Aurora his whole life. His occupations included, house painter, landscaper and beekeeper.
Eric was an avid gardener and devoted Aurora firefighter. He will be remembered for his 27 years of service to the Aurora Fire Department.
He is survived by his daughter Linda MaGee (Bob), his two grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his infant son, Steven.
Visitation will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main Street South, Newmarket) on Thursday, September 5th at 10:00 AM, with memorial service following, commencing at 10:30 AM. Friends are welcome to light refreshments following the service.
