September 10th, 1935 - May 24th, 2024
Our ever loving mother passed away peacefully on the morning of May 24, 2024. Her husband, our father, Jim Diamond had passed in 2008 and in our hearts, we know, he was waiting with God, to embrace her with love. We, Brenda Maggio (Paul), Carol Leitch (Brad), Jamie Diamond (Neil), and Kim Diamond, as her daughters cherish the beautiful memories she left as our heirlooms. In addition to her five granddaughters: Tiffany (Jamie), Natasha (Anthony), Jessica (Barry), Ashley (Cameron), and Katrina (Dan). She leaves nine great-grandchildren.
She wholeheartedly shared her gifts and warmth with family and friends through her sewing, knitting, family dinners, and her "baked with love" buttertarts and apple pie.
You will always and forever be our treasured and loving Mom.
A memorial service will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., following the service Betty will be taken to her place of rest, next to her beloved husband, Jim, at the Newmarket Cemetery, 112 Main Street North, Newmarket. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
