October 14th, 1930 - February 19th, 2025

Kenneth Brian Davis passed away peacefully at Southlake Care Village on the 19th of February at 94 years of age. Loving husband of Phyllis (nee Parfitt) for 68 years, beloved father of Richard (Caroline) and Sandra (Larry), grandfather of Wesley, Madelyn, Emma, Joshua (Danielle) and Rebekah (Cameron), great-grandfather of Finely and Milo, son of the late Joshua and Bessie and brother of Carl.

Ken was born in Shaunavon, SK and spent his youth in Grandview, MB and North Vancouver, BC, where he met his future wife, Phyllis. He received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and became a Chartered Accountant while working for Price Waterhouse and Standard Oil Ltd. Shortly afterward, Ken began his career with Imperial Oil Ltd, taking positions in Edmonton, Toronto and Calgary, culminating in the role of comptroller before retiring in 1987. He was also a life member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.

For many years before and after retirement, Ken was an avid downhill skier along with Phyllis, enjoying the slopes in Ontario as well as in the Western Rocky Mountains. He spent his retirement years in Scarborough and ultimately in Newmarket, ON.

The family would like to thank the staff at Southlake Care Village for their excellent care of Ken in his final months.

There will be no funeral service. However, if desired, memorial donations can be made to Mercy Ships Canada, where his daughter Sandra has served for the last ten years.
