CLUCAS, Ronald Stephen passed away peacefully in his 83rd year at home with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Heather and his loving daughters, Jennifer (John Lee), Julie (Arsh Nejjar) and his son, Jeff. He will be sadly missed by his 4 beautiful grandchildren, Daniel and Carissa Lee and Amelia and Ariana Nejjar. He was predeceased by his sister, Gail and his brother, John. Ron was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Mark Duncan (Pam Jackson). He will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Laurel (Bruce Davison) and Holly (Tanner Rain) and all his nieces and nephews and his family in the Isle of Man and England.
Ron was an avid artist his whole life. He loved creating his paintings and driving his pristine 2002 T-Bird (DORONRON). He worked for Pringle & Booth (later Communicorp) for 46 years where he made many friends. And he had an Outrageous time boating with his friends on Lake Simcoe, Georgian Bay and the Trent System for 30 years.
Ron & Heather and family appreciated all the help and care Ron received throughout his illness at The Stronach Centre and Southlake Regional Health Centre and want to give our special thanks to Dr. Elaine Bouttell, Dr. Cindy So, Janette and Laura and all the nurses and PSWs that visited Ron at home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Sunday, November 24th, 2024. Please visit www.chapelridgefh.com for details.
In lieu of flowers, Ron would prefer a donation to The Stronach Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
