Passed away peacefully at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, Ontario on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at 76 years of age.
Loving wife of Carl Cheski. Beloved mother of Gregory Snoddy (Wendy Timmins), Tanya Carvalho (Jose Carvalho), and Ryan Snoddy (Barb Ryner). Loving step-mother of Martin Cheski (Renate Cheski) and Peter Cheski. Proud grandmother of Cassandra, Jacob, Kathleen, Diego, Lily and Kristen. Survived by sister Jean Anderson (Jim) and brothers Donny Peterson (Kelly), Bobby Peterson (Joyce). Predeceased by siblings Beverly, Walter, and George. Predeceased by parents Muriel and Carl Peterson. With special recognition of Marilyn’s guardian family, Nick and Dorothy Lathouras, George, Daphne and Stephanie.
Marilyn’s greatest accomplishment and pride was her family.
The family would like to thank the incredible and caring staff at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, who cared for Marilyn in her final days.
Visitation will take place at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main Street South, Newmarket) on Monday, January 20th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, and Tuesday, January 21st from 10-11 AM.
