Heather Jeanette Bunn (McDonald) or as her family called her, "Mama Bear" and "Nanny Moe" passed away peacefully in her 86th year on Wednesday September 11, 2024 at Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket Ontario. She was comforted in her room filled with music and loved ones, friends and the incredibly caring staff at Margaret Bahen Hospice.
Her spirit will be carried on through her Daughters Janette (Ron), Bonnie (Steve), her Grandchildren Rachel (Kyle), Dylan, Summer (James) and Vann, and her Great Grandson Caden.
Heather was born in Newmarket, Ontario December 10, 1938. She dedicated her life to helping others, volunteering at the Newmarket Legion, Newmarket Senior Centre and the NewRoads Performing Arts Centre and spending quality time with her extended family and many many good friends.
Although our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her husband Carl in their afterlife.
Friends and family are invited to drop in for a Celebration of Heather's Life on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the NewRoads Performing Arts Centre, Mulock Dr, Newmarket, Ontario 1:00pm-3:30pm. Remarks will take place at 2:00pm
