Beverley Arnold passed away peacefully on Friday June 28th, 2024 after a lengthy battle with dementia. She was in her 88th year. Beverley was the loving wife of James Allen Arnold (deceased Dec 1999), mother of 2 sons Colin, Shawn (Jean), and proud grandmother to Alex and Brendan Arnold. Beverley was predeceased by her parents Thelma and Randall Anderson and her brother Clifford (Bud) Anderson.

Bev loved all aspects of life with a particular penchant for being of service to her community by actively volunteering for the Cdn Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society and The Kidney Foundation. She was a frequent visitor to local county forests to feed her love of nature and wildlife. Beverley travelled extensively over the course of her life as well. She was also an avid reader and was a big fan of Canadian art and artists.

Beverley graduated from Toronto Teacher's College in 1957 before marrying and starting her family in 1961. She taught briefly and then focused on bringing up her boys. She also worked at Newmarket Daycare and a Canadiana Gift Shop in Stouffville run by her dear friend Allan Dixon. Soon after, Bev's love of art and people saw her as the proprietor of Beverley's Custom Framing in Newmarket located just adjacent to the local hospital.

Friends and family may call on the Road House and Rose Funeral Home located at 157 Main St south Newmarket on Wednesday July 3rd from 6:00-9:00pm for visitation. There will be a funeral service in the chapel on Thursday July 4th commencing at 11:00 am with refreshments in the salon to follow. Beverley will be interned with her husband Jim at the Queensville cemetery during a private family ceremony at a later date.

The family would also like to take this opportunity to state our gratitude towards the amazing staff at the Renoir Residences. Their compassion and empathy they provided in caring for our mom cannot be measured and we will be forever grateful.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Canadian Diabetes Foundation or the Kidney Foundation ..all charities Beverley was passionate about.
