NEWS RELEASE
BRADFORD MINOR BASEBALL ASSOCIATION
*************************
The Bradford Minor Baseball Association is officially kicking off its 2019 season with an important message of community support and a tragic reminder to not drink and drive.
The BMBA is a not-for-profit run entirely by volunteers and supported by generous donations from community businesses and groups. This year the BMBA is proud to have partnered with a very special group, Many Hands, Doing Good, and will be highlighting them and their important message this coming Saturday, June 15.
Many Hands, Doing Good was founded by mother Jennifer Neville-Lake after the loss of her three children and her father in a drunk driving collision in 2015. “The strength and support that the community came forward with ignited the desire to give back to that same community in a way that would reinforce the passions of Milagros, Harrison, Daniel and Gary.”
Prior to team Many Hands, Doing Good taking the field on Saturday, there will be a special presentation from Head Coach and Many Hands' Board Member York Regional Police Const. Andy Pattenden on behalf of the Neville-Lake family and foundation. There will also be brief messages from the BMBA, the South Simcoe Police, and the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Players, parents, and supporters are invited to join us to highlight the foundation and their good work, to help celebrate the legacy they are creating, and to reinforce the message to stay safe on the roads this summer and always.
