The York Chamber Ensemble is bringing its Christmas selections to Newmarket this December with a live, in-person concert at St. Paul’s Anglican Church.
The concert is called A Little Night Music and will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
Conductor Michael Berec will lead the ensemble through classics like Dvorak’s Nocturne, Khatchaturian’s Adagio, Vitali’s Chaconne, Borodin’s Notturno, Torelli’s Christmas Concerto, and more holiday favourites.
The concert will also feature soloist Joyce Lai on violin.
Tickets are available for $25 and must be purchased in advance. You can buy them online or contact [email protected] if you need help ordering.
All attendees aged 12 and older will be required to show proof of full vaccination to be admitted.
Physical distancing will also be in place at the concert.
They will not be selling refreshments but guests are permitted to bring their own water to drink.
This Christmas concert is part of their 21st concert season.
Their first in-person concert of the season took place in October. Two more concerts complete the series in the new year, with one on March 26 and another on May 14.
