Saying “yes” to Encore paid off for Ferdinand Singson of Unionville.
He matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the May 25, 2024 Lotto 6/49 draw to win $100,000.
Ferdinand, 54, has been playing the lottery with OLG weekly for over 30 years. He is now celebrating his first big win.
“I scanned my ticket on the OLG app and thought to myself, ‘Wow. This is crazy,’” Ferdinand recalled, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his winnings. “I was in pure shock and left speechless.”
With his winnings, Ferdinand plans to pay some bills, buy some new golf clubs and save for a rainy day.

The winning ticket was purchased at Gateway Newstands on Highway 7 in Markham.
