There are two Christmas markets to choose from this weekend to help you jump-start your holiday shopping.
Over 25 venders will be on hand at the Newmarket Farmers Market Saturday selling tasty treats, jewelry, ceramics, skin care products and more.
The Christmas market is free and will be open from 9 a.m. to noon at the Newmarket Community Centre at 200 Doug Duncan Dr.
Masks must be worn at all times.
Completion of a Town of Newmarket screening tool and proof of vaccination or a valid medical exemption document are required prior to entering the building.
Market Brewing Company is holding their 4th annual Christmas market Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The outdoor event will feature more than 20 vendors selling unique, one-of-a-kind, handmade items.
Wickedly Sinful Food Truck will be serving mouth-watering snacks and Kevin Foster will perform live inside the Taproom throughout the day.
The event will be broadcast live by 93.7 Country FM (Keswick) and 105.5 Beat (Uxbridge).
In lieu of a ticket for the free event please brings a non-perishable food donation for the Newmarket Food Pantry to help them surpass the more than 1200 pounds of food collected last year. Entry is $5 without a donation.
There is parking at the front and side of the building or at the York Medical Medicentres at 17730 Leslie St. Parking is limited and guests are encouraged to park at the plaza across the street and make the short walk over.
