Ring in 2019 with free transit services

Sit back, relax and leave the driving to York Region Transit (YRT) this holiday season and take advantage of the many benefits transit offers. Ring in 2019 responsibly and safely while attending New Year’s Eve celebrations with free transit.

Check out the holiday service changes now in effect to Jan. 1, 2019. New service changes will begin Jan. 6, 2019.

YRT will provide residents with free and safe transit service to and from their festivities on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 after 7 p.m. Late-night service will be extended on select routes until approximately 5 a.m. Community Bus and Dial-a-Ride routes will follow regular schedules. Customers can visit yrt.ca for complete schedules.

YRT offers local and rapid transit services throughout all nine cities and towns in York Region. More than 130 routes keep residents connected within York Region, as well as connecting to services in the City of Toronto and the Regions of Peel and Durham.
