"Participants will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions aimed at enhancing their entrepreneurial journey," the city stated.
Topics for the week of webinars and one in-person session are:
- March 4 — Angel Investing Unveiled/Financial Modelling for Startup Founders
- March 5 — How to Start a Small Business
- March 6 — Bridges Beyond (sharing inspiring stories)
- March 7 — Improving your Social Media with ChatGPT
- March 7 — Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals in Tech (in-person)
- March 8 — Fireside Chat featuring Successful Women Entrepreneurs
"Only 17 per cent of Canadian small and medium-sized businesses are owned by women. As a community, Richmond Hill is committed to helping change that number," the city said.
The event is hosted by Richmond Hill’s Small Business Enterprise Centre and is open to anyone who supports women’s empowerment and is keen to gain insight from the series, emphasizing inclusivity and the opportunity for all to participate in insightful discussions and engagements. Participants are welcome to attend one, some or all events.
