Planning a visit to a York Region waste depot this holiday season? Please be advised all Regional waste depots will be closed Dec. 25, Dec. 26 and Jan. 1, 2019.
York Region manages one Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) depot, two Community Environmental Centres (CECs) and one HHW and Recycling depot where residents can drop off waste that cannot be picked up at the curb. Additionally, York Region operates a transfer station in the Town of Georgina.
