GO train service on the Stouffville Line rail service will be cancelled on weekends, Dec. 7 to 8 and Dec. 14 to 15, to accommodate track work that will bring faster, more frequent service across the network, according to Metrolinx.
GO buses will replace train service along the Stouffville line and will only stop at Old Elm, Stouffville, Mount Joy, Markham, Centennial, and Unionville GO stations, running express to and from Union Station bus terminal.
Customers travelling to and from Milliken, Agincourt and Kennedy GO stations are encouraged to use the TTC.
- GO Bus Route 71E will serve Union Station Bus Terminal, Unionville, Centennial, Markham, and Mount Joy GO stations.
- GO Bus Route 71C will serve Union Station Bus Terminal, Unionville, Centennial, Markham, Mount Joy, Stouffville, and Old Elm GO stations.
Stouffville GO customers: Please be advised, due to the Stouffville Santa Claus Parade on Dec. 7, several stops, including Stouffville GO, will not be in service between 2:30 and 9 p.m. Customers are encouraged to connect with the GO bus replacement service from Old Elm or Mount Joy GO stations.
