The Town of Newmarket is inviting you to a day of winter fun as Winterfest returns to the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex Feb. 18.
Falling on Family Day weekend, the event will be full of winter activities, including rides, a live concert and more.
“Bring the family out for a day of fun-filled winter activities, food and performance,” the town said on social media.
The annual winter-themed event is returning, having not run since 2020 during pandemic restrictions.
Attractions this year include a Ferris wheel, a merry-go-round and a tube slide. There will also be plenty of performers, including a concert by Bernadette Connors, a fire performer and DooDoo the International Clown.
Various community organizations will also have activities at the event, including the Central York Fire Services with a fire truck, York Regional Police, Newmarket Minor Hockey Association and Newmarket Car Club.
The free event presented by Scotiabank will run Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be held at the south parking lot of the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex.
