A King City woman and her sisters and cousin shared "a magical feeling" when they told their family they had won a Triple Millions prize worth $100,000 in the Aug. 29 main draw.

Lucia Russo of King City, sisters Claudia Casciato of Concord and Paola Casciato of Toronto, and cousin Palma Disciullo of Concord are excited to share the news of their big win.

“I checked our ticket on the OLG app and was shocked when I saw the amount we had won,” Lucia recalled, while the group visited the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their winnings. “I texted everyone right away. It was a magical feeling, to share the news with my family. It still feels like a dream.”

“It’s a blessing,” said Palma. “It’s been amazing, especially because we get to share in this moment together.”

With their winnings, the group members plan to pay some bills and give back to their communities.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro-Canada on Rutherford Road in Concord.
