Three days of activities and friendship marked six decades for Maple Leaf Public School last weekend.
Gatherings at the school and local restaurants were part of the walk down memory lane, as well as bus trip through town with Mayor John Taylor acting as tour guide.
As part of the reunion’s festivities, a Go Fund Me campaign has been set up by organizers to raise $2,500 to help convert a classroom at Maple Leaf into a kitchen so the student nutrition program can expand.
