Here's where to get vaccinated in Newmarket and York Region Nov. 16-23

A number of COVID-19 pop-up vaccination clinics are taking place in targeted communities in York Region this week, including one in Newmarket. 

Today, Tuesday, Nov. 16, there are three pop-up clinics. At the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre at 101 Edgeley Blvd. in Vaughan, a clinic is being held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Then from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m., clinics will take place at the Sutton legion branch at 21 East St. in Georgina and at the Richmond Hill legion branch at 233 Centre St. in Richmond Hill. 

Both the Newmarket legion branch at 707 Srigley St. and Aurora legion branch at 105 Industrial Pkwy. are hosting clinics on Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

A clinic will also be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on that day at the Jaffari Community Centre at  9000 Bathurst St. in Vaughan. 

The Jaffari Community Centre will also host a pop-up clinic on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

On Nov. 18, there will also be a clinic at the Mount Albert legion branch at 31 Princess St. in East Gwillimbury from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, Nov. 19, a clinic will be held at SmartCentres Vaughan Northwest at  3600 Major Mackenzie Dr. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

The final pop-up clinic for the week is at Rosemount Community Centre, at 1000 New Westminster Dr. in Vaughan, on Tuesday, Nov. 23 from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

Pop-up clinics are open for walk-ins for first or second doses and have both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines available. 

The community clinic in Newmarket at the York Region Administrative Centre at 17250 Yonge St. is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. 

The clinic at the Georgina Ice Palace at 90 Wexford Dr. is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday and from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. 

In Vaughan, there’s a community clinic at the Maple Community Centre at 10190 Keele St. from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. 

The clinic at the Richvale Community Centre at 160 Avenue Rd. in Richmond Hill is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. 

The Armadale Community Centre at 2401 Denison St. in Markham is open from 9:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Community clinics accept walk-ins, however, you can also book an appointment on the York Region website. 

The clinics have both Pfizer and Moderna available.

Bookings for third dose vaccinations for eligible residents must be made online at york.ca/covid19vaccine.
