Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Newmarket, Georgina and northern York Region this evening as temperatures are expected to dip near the freezing mark.
"Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas," the agency advises.
Take preventive measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees tonight, Oct. 12, and into Friday morning.
