You can expect temporary lane closures when construction for a new traffic control signal at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Clearmeadow Boulevard in Newmarket begins mid-August.
While daily lane closures will be in place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Bathurst and Clearmeadow will remain open to traffic throughout construction.
The work is expected to be complete by fall 2019, however, as with all road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather, York Region advises.
