The town of East Gwillimbury will be raising the 2SLGBTQ+ Pride flag and officially unveiling the town's new progressive crosswalk.
The event will take place on May 31 at 9 a.m. at the Civic Centre.
Mayor Virgina Hackson and representatives from PFLAG York Region will be there, giving remarks and raising the flag.
June is 2SLGBTQ+ Pride Month in Canada since 2016
