Canadian crooner Steven Taetz and his six-piece band will bring holiday music to the new Aurora Town Square performance hall with My Christmas Wish on Nov. 30

"It’s a perfect night out for those who love the vibe of Matt Dusk and Michael Bublé," an Aurora Cultural Centre news release said. "The evening will feature seasonal favourites, along with a sprinkling of original holiday tunes all wrapped up in a bow."

A vocalist and performer of the first order, Toronto-based Steven Taetz has an unforgettable stage presence — comfortable, charming and absolutely riveting. His range takes us everywhere — from vintage jazz standards, swing and the American Songbook to rollicking roots and warm ballads, the news release said.

The award-winning artist has appeared in most of Toronto’s landmark venues including Jazz Bistro, The Rex Jazz & Blues Bar, Hugh’s Room, and Koerner Hall’s Galleria for Sinatra’s 100th. He’s appeared in festivals across the country, at storied jazz clubs in Korea and at New York City’s Carnegie Hall.

This enchanting holiday concert will bring the warmth of the season to the stage and is sure to have everyone rushing home to break out the holly and mistletoe.
