Comedian Glen Foster, a.k.a. That Canadian Guy, is coming to Newmarket to headline Premium Comedy at the Sociable Pub May 13 at 8:30 p.m.
The night will also feature opening acts by Matt Render, Sara Nicklin and MC Liam Kelly.
Foster has been performing stand-up for more than four decades, reflecting his own experience, current affairs and popular culture in his witty, timely and relevant comedy.
He also made numerous appearances on TV and radio shows and appeared eight times on CBC’s Just for Laughs.
"Those who enjoy a more sophisticated yet slightly 'edgy' kind of humour will enjoy Glen’s comedy," reads the news release issued by Sociable Pub.
"This is a rare appearance in the York Region by one of Canada’s comedy legends."
