“It was a Sunday morning when I checked my email. I opened a message from OLG and thought I read that I’d won $100. I then counted the zeros and realized I’d actually won $100,000,” Karen said, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her windfall. “I immediately went into shock. I carried on with my morning without saying anything about my win.”
Before long, Karen was ready to share the exciting news. “I told my children about my winnings, and they were very happy. This win came at a good time for me. While it still doesn’t feel real, it’s been an amazing experience. It gives you a sense of freedom,” she concluded.
